Paid Membership Feature — Coming Soon

One place. Every legal event, opportunity, and role in Australia.

The Profession is building a centralised, searchable database of CPD events, networking opportunities, conferences, jobs, and pro bono opportunities — aggregated from across the Australian legal landscape. It is a core benefit of paid Profession membership — included with every paid plan, always current, and always linked to the original source.

If your organisation runs events or opportunities for the legal profession, this page is for you. Register as a data partner and take control of how you appear in the database from day one.

How it works

How the database works

The Profession aggregates publicly available listings from across the Australian legal sector — including law societies, bar associations, courts, universities, CPD providers, legal recruiters, and professional associations — into a single searchable database for our members.

Every listing links directly to its original source. We do not reproduce full content. Members click through to your page, your registration form, your job listing — the traffic is always yours.

The database is kept current through a combination of automated monitoring of public sources and direct data feeds from registered partner organisations. Partner organisations appear with greater accuracy and completeness, because they supply their own data directly.

Aggregated from public sources

We monitor publicly available listings from law societies, associations, courts, universities, and legal publishers across Australia.

Always links to the original

Every listing in the database directs members to your original page. No traffic is lost. No content is reproduced without attribution.

Partner-controlled accuracy

Registered data partners supply their own listings directly, ensuring their content appears accurately, completely, and on their own terms.

For data partners

The difference between being listed and being featured.

Organisations across the Australian legal sector are already appearing in The Profession's database through publicly available sources. Registering as a data partner means you control how you appear — with accurate listings, complete information, and direct links to the pages that matter most to your audience.

Partner advantage

Partner organisations are surfaced ahead of non-partner listings in member search results.

Your listings appear accurately and completely, because you supply the source data.

Members are directed to your original pages — all traffic goes directly to you.

Update, correct, or remove your listings at any time.

Be included in the database from day one of launch.

It is free — no fees, no tiers required to participate.

Set-up support from The Profession team for any data method you prefer.

Three ways to share your data

Three ways to share your data. You choose what works for you.

Recommended

RSS feed

If your website publishes an RSS feed for events or jobs, simply provide the URL. We'll monitor it automatically and update your listings in real time. The easiest method for both parties — nothing ongoing required from you.

Nominated page URL

Provide the URL of your events or jobs page and we'll set up automated monitoring to check it regularly for new listings. You continue managing your own website as normal — we handle the rest.

Manual submission

Prefer to submit listings directly? Use our submission form to add events or opportunities to the database individually. The highest level of control — ideal for organisations with infrequent or irregular listings.

You can change your preferred method at any time. Our team is available to assist with setup for any of the three options.
